Washington (QNN)- Former US president Donald Trump on Saturday accused Joe Biden of “criticizing Israel” during Israel’s 11-day aggression on the Gaza Strip.“He actually criticized Israel while the Jewish homeland was under attack by thousands and thousands of rockets and missiles launched by Iran. It was launched by Iran,” Trump claimed in a speech to the North Carolina Republican Convention.Trump went on to claim that during his presidency “America was respected again,” and added, “We withdrew from the disastrous Iran nuclear deal…We decimated the ranks of the world’s top terrorists.”Trump also slammed Democratic members of Congress, after some progressive Democratic lawmakers were highly critical of ‘Israel’ during its aggression on Gaza and called for block and ending of military aid to ‘Israel’.“It was a betrayal when you look at what happened in Congress,” he said. “It used to be… everybody was with Israel. Today, I guess it’s just not in vogue. But you look at some of these radicals they have in the House of Representatives, you have to deal with them all the time.”He added, “Israel is really almost out, it’s almost out. It’s a very, very terrible thing.”19 families in the Gaza Strip have been wiped off the population civil registry during Israel’s 11-day aggression, the Palestinian Health Ministry said, including 41 children and 25 women.Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip started on May 10 and ended with a ceasefire brokered by mediator Egypt on May 21, killing at least 279 Palestinians, including 69 children and 40 women and injuring 1,910 others.More than 90,000 Palestinians were displaced from their homes, and much of Gaza’s infrastructure and many residential buildings were completely destroyed or levelled.Health centres, media offices, as well as schools were among the structures targeted during the 11-days of constant bombardment.
