La prima volta che l’ho incontrato su uno dei ponti sul Tamigi a Londra, come al solito, con il suo fedele amico Behzad il muto, e l’ultima volta che l’ho incontrato è stato in uno dei caffè del quartiere ArRemal di Gaza.

Il miglior caffè di Gaza era più carino e raffinato dei tradizionali caffè londinesi e, come al solito, aveva il suo fedele amico Behzad il muto, era con lui anche Nael alQatati.

Quasi ogni due mesi nella stessa mensa di Gaza incontravo un gruppo di giovani che avevano conseguito un master presso le università di Londra. L’incontro non è stato tanto un incontro tra professore e studente quanto l’incontro di un vecchio amico con i suoi giovani amici.
