Palermo. Una nuova polemica investe Matteo Renzi per gli spostamenti con jet privato. Perché domenica il leader di Italia viva ha tenuto comizi in quattro città d’Italia – Lamezia Terme, Bari, Cagliari e Palermo – e in tutte e quattro le tappe, agli stessi orari, è stato seguito da un aereo della Leader srl, l’azienda che l’aveva portato da Napoli a Lugano l’11 settembre e il cui nome era apparso (senza rilievi penali) nell’inchiesta Open per essere stata utilizzata più volte dall’ex premier. Domenica il jet è partito verso la Calabria da Ciampino, ha toccato altre due regioni, infine dalla Sicilia è andato a Firenze, prima di tornare a Roma.
Nei tragitti, poi, c’è anche qualche singolare coincidenza: nella tappa palermitana il jet è atterrato con 42 minuti di ritardo, tanti quanti ne ha registrati il comizio di Renzi in Sicilia. Da Palermo l’ex premier ha difeso i voli privati: “C’è una forza politica che dice che per combattere il climate change bisogna abolirli – ha scandito – È l’ennesimo atto populista. Se noi decidiamo di abolire i jet privati non ci sarà mai un hotel a 5 stelle in Sicilia”.
